Inventory prices changing user entered prices
I have noticed in the last few weeks, but could have been going on longer. If I am adding a part to inventory, while in the work order screen - the user entered price does not stick. I have entered the inventory item, chose the vendor, clicked user entered price $ and put in the prices - saved the item.
If I go back into the inventory screen - the price on the part will be the matrix mark up - not the user entered price that I just put in.
I have had it happen entering a part in the Inventory list this way as well.
I thought at first it was a dumb user mistake, but it happened to me twice today as well.
I'm on version 7.3.10.

Thanks, Becky. We've recorded this issue and hope to have it fixed in a near-future update.

Happens often here, I notice it with oil changes, we sell 99% of our filters (that are in stock) at $6.95. When I notice that it changed, I go back into inventory and change it back.

Just wondering if the newest update will fix the prices changing. We are really working on getting all of our parts into the computer, & noticing that if we click the user entered price - it will not stick.

Re: Inventory prices changing user entered prices
Are you checking off User Entered Price on the inventory part in the work order, or in the inventory list? If you're changing it on the work order it won't persist through other orders, but if you change it in inventory, it will keep that pricing every time you add that part onto a new RO.

Re: Inventory prices changing user entered prices
It is when I am entering new inventory items in the inventory list as well. I thought it might have just been happening when we did it in a work order, but it has done it in the list too. I am checking user entered price.dtstire wrote:Are you checking off User Entered Price on the inventory part in the work order, or in the inventory list?
